Kati Vasti is a specialized Ayurvedic therapy for the lower back, where warm, medicated herbal oil is retained in a well (made of dough) over the lumbosacral area. This treatment deeply nourishes and relaxes the muscles, nerves, and spine.

How long is the session?
Each Kati Vasti session typically lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on your condition and practitioner’s recommendation. For best results, a series of sessions may be suggested.
Do I need a consultation before starting Kati Vasti?
Yes, an initial Ayurvedic consultation is required to assess your condition, identify imbalances, and choose the right oil and treatment protocol for you. Your session will be customized accordingly.
Which oils are used in Kati Vasti?
We use carefully selected herbal oils such as Mahanarayan, Ksheerabala, or Sahacharadi taila based on your dosha and underlying condition. All oils are warmed and applied at a therapeutic temperature.
Can Kati Vasti help with sciatica and disc problems?

Is Kati Vasti painful?
Not at all. The therapy is deeply relaxing and warming. Most clients experience immediate relief and comfort, especially with chronic back tension
How many sessions are needed?
For chronic or recurring back issues, a series of 5 to 7 sessions is usually recommended. For preventive care or mild discomfort, 2 to 3 sessions may be enough.
What should I expect after the treatment?
You may feel lighter, more flexible, and relaxed. Mild soreness or warmth is normal. Avoid exertion, cold exposure, or heavy meals immediately after the session for best results.
